2002 Ford Taurus SES showing codes P0152, P1401, P1131, P0175, P0301, P0303, P0304, P0305, P03016, and P1130


I'm out of time and money, I have no knowledge of cars I bought this car for $2000 and it was running fine and then just started having problems going up hills, had a loss of power, it's real sluggish. Paid some guy $200 to tell me nothing. Someone help. Thanks

With the so many misfire codes, it may need a coil but first I'd clean th MAF with MAF cleaner. Replace the fuel filter and check all the fuses, under the hood and inside the car.

You have too many codes for that engine's problem. Send it out to a " REAL " dealership
that knows what they are doing and have them pull the codes. " loss of power going up hills ". How do you know the transmission isn't bagged ? The $200.00 you spent would have given you plenty of money for the dealership and money left over for a nice supper with wine and one hell of a tip.

Just for the hell of it, pull your spark plugs and see what they look like.

I did something real stupid a few years ago. I replaced the plugs and forgot to tighten the 3 on the backside. They came loose and the car started misfiring like crazy. I barely made it home. All three plugs were fried and I needed new ones. Luckily, that's all I had to replace.

I have a 96 and a 98 and these cars are pretty darn tough.
