speed sensor?

jgorz420 Registered User Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 13	speed sensor? i have a 97 taurus lx, a few weeks ago i got it back from the shop and as i leftthe speedometer jumped a few times and quit working, as with the trip meter, odometer and cruise quit working, so i replaced the fuse and it worked for about a few seconds and quit. would this be a bad speed sensor or some type of short in the wiring??
