can anyone give me a idea as to what may cause this problem,i finaly got my car running but now the starter wont turn off did i miss something, all the wires are attached to the same spots as they were before i changed it so if any one can please help.

OK. Disconnect the small wire (Should have a 90* boot on the end of it, a Red/Light Blue wire.) and see if it stops. If it stops then there is an issue with the ignition switch, a slim possibility the neutral switch. Reconnect the wire, shift the trans into reverse and see if it stops. If it stops you've narrowed it to the ignition switch. If it doesn't stop when you disconnect the wire then either you have a bad solenoid or it's still wired wrong.
