Just want to know how to remove the stereo on a 99 Taurus SE. I'm actually planning to install a CD changer, and was hoping that the stock head unit has a BUS connector. Thanks!
you can bend 2 paperclips into a C shape and sitck them into the 4 holes simultaneously and it should come out. But, unfortunately, I have found out that it is nearly impossible due to the way the car is wired to install a CD changer, even an OEM one into a Taurus in which it was not originally installed.
Thanks. I found out the same thing too. I also found out that the amp, the tuner and the rest of the stereo's in the back of the car. It looks like this car had a CD changer when it was new, since it still had the alpine cd controller connector. Now all I have to find out is the model number of the alpine and plug it in.
