Stupid question(CD player) - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I have a 98' Mercury Sable. It has the digital climate controls. And my question is where can I find a dash kit for this car to put a CD player in it?

I've searched the internet and cannot find that will fit!

As far as I know there is not a kit available for your application.

Indeed. If you have the electronic climate controls then there is no in dash aftermarket setup.

Don't know if this is any value but the CD kit for my Taurus goes into the trunk. The radio controls the unit. I thougth about getting one from a bone yard but I don't really listen to CD's

The best bet is to go to the boneyard and get the one that goes in the trunk..you just plug in the unit and it is ready to go.with the controls you have I think it is your only choice.
