Hello,
I need to put a better engine into my 1998 Taurus SE that has a 3.0 in it. I fouund a 1997 Taurus SE 3.0 and I want to swap it into my 1998's engine compartment.
Will everything match, will I have problems?
The 1997 is a whole car and it has interior items I need that'd make this all worth while...as long as I can make a engine swap.

it depends on what is broke on the 98. the 97 and 96 are direct swaps and so are the 98-99 and some 00s but you may have to change stuff like the wireing harness, intake.etc (i am not sure what exactly)
