Question tail light problems

Hi,
New to the forum. Been looking very hard around to see if I could find anyone to help me with a problem.
My taillihgts went out and I can't figure out how to get them back.
I am not very electrically incline so any help would help alot.
It's a 94 ford taurus station wagon.
Please can any one help me with this problem? I drive a lot in the dark and it scares me to think there is nothing back there to signal that I am here.
I look forward to any help that you can give.

Oh yes it does have a trailer assembly but that corroded off. didn't even know it had one till tonight when I was digging around in the back to see what I could find out my self.
Well ther ya have it hope some one replies soon.

That's probably your problem. The corroded wires shorted together and blew a fuse. Start by seperating the trailer wires from each other and go from there checking fuses.
