Quick question. Does the 2002 Taurus use an O-ring for the thermostat? When I removed the old one, I did not see an O-ring. I replaced it and the gasket. I'm having a leak there. I removed the gasket, (have to get a new one). I have the Black silicone for the gasket.

Before I put it back, I'm just checking if it uses an O-ring, or my leak was faulty gasketing:-)

If it's the 2v, it takes a gasket. The 4v takes an O'ring.
