Taurus 99, Idle shaking

Hello all,

I drove 25okm highway and stopped by a supermarket today, when I started my car after shopping, the idle was aroung 400 which normal is 1000 for my car, and at the same time I could feel the car shaking.

I turned off and on the car several times, and the symptoms were same.
I could feel the lack of power while driving. after a few minutes, it seemed getting better and I drove onto highway again, after got home, tried the idle again, no more shaking, idle is back to normal. gonna try it tomorrow again.

anyone knows the possible causes?

thanks

Re: Taurus 99, Idle shaking

If it continues with this fault , might be worthwhile cleaning idle air control valve and throttle body .
