So I bought The Scosche FM-MOD02 Universal Audio Input FM Modulator for iPod, Satellite Radio or Portable Music Player and The Metra 44-EC204 204-Inch Antenna Extension Cable.


I tried installing this today, but to no avail.

What I did was I opened up the trunk. Found the Antennae and the wire coming from it to a silver metal box. I pulled out the wire coming from the antennae. I ran the Metra Antenna Extension cable (2 of em) from the radio to the trunk. I tried installing those cables 1 into The Antennae cable and the other into the silver box. The connections were right.... female (antennae cable) to male (modulator cable).... male (silver box) to female (modulator cable). But the modulator cables didn't fit. I tried pushing and shoving it into the other connectors but it didnt go in. I think they were too small. Do I need special adapters or something?
