i have a noise in a 2002 mercury sable like a romp,romp,romp,romp heard best around 45 mph, ive changed both frt.hubs,still there,begenning to wonder if its tire noise, i have acess to a 2ooo taurus and am thinking of switching wheels and tires if they will interchange just to see if the noise will go away, can i get any suggestions thanx

Rims and tires are the same. You should have done that in the first place. Hubs don't
go romp,romp.

Definetely swapable. You can check the tires for uneven wear, feel the tread, specifically the shoulders. Any uneven wear or feathered edges can cause noise like you describe, usually caused by alignment issue. But swap the tires from the Taurus to be sure.
