Bought a 2004 SES taurus,3.0,24V DOHC today. Was wondering where I should start the mods. Engine,Drive train then move to exterior. I have a little bit of money to spend not a whole lot right at this time.

Well not sure what your into but I started out with the interior and put in a whole new sound system its not to pricy at the same time doesn't need your car to be parked out for a few days.

Well I am 34 years old, married with kids and want to build this car up,but I don't want look like a middle age man going through a mid-life crisis.I do want something that looks good and will run when I want it too.

I was thinking some window tinting and a new sound system and some rims(not to flashy) then into some engine mods. I will encounter some challenges.

Will a column shift be a problem in later engine/trans axle mods?
