Update to is this the Headgasket.

2000 Ford Taurus 3.0 V6 OHV 180,000 miles. Location: Texas
I had a coolant leak couldn't find it. Anyway turned out to be the timing cover and water pump.
While my mechanic was in there he put in a new timing chain because there was alot of slack in it.
As soon as you have a coolant leak fix it!
Total: $1,097.04
1. timing cover gasket
2. water pump
3. timing chain
4. belt tensioner
5. thermostat
6. oil change, antifreeze,etc, etc
7. antifreeze flush
