Okay, this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to switch the standard 3.0 v6 in my 97 taurus to a V8? I'm a big fan on street racing, and I figured I'd take advantage of having an uncommon racing car and maybe do something with it. But anyways, if it's a stupid question, sorry for wasting your time :-/

It could be done, however the cost would way exceed the logic of doing it. You know they made a V8 SHO right? If a V8 is what you're after, that may be a better alternative for you.
