94 taurus wagon. I'm under the thing doing whatever and find a sway bar looking thing on the font end. It isn't connected to anything at the ends. And I don't see where it would go.. It pivots up and down but it's like the connectors are missing and maybe a factory upgrade ? or something? It's basically dead weight. Car handles fine. Whats this sway bar thing that isn't connected?

The sway bar attaches to the struts with pieces that are called sway bar end links. If yours are missing, then someone took them off. They come from the factory with the links on. You will get much better and safer corner handling with the end links attached. They're not expensive (about $30 each) and you can put them on yourself.
