The little rubber boot used on the joint of sway bar link and damp holder was broken on my Taurus 2000. I am eager to replace the part. However, Autozone and Ford local dealer said this rubber boot is not separate, I must buy the sway bar link. Could I get this little rubber boot from other place?

Quote of sway bar link from Autozone is $25, but from Ford local dealer is $48. Why the price is so different? The quality of the part from local dealer is better?

I always buy aftermarket parts unless it's a dealer only item. Just about any aftermarket part meets or exceeds OEM specs & is almost always cheaper than the dealer. Stick with autozone.
