ok I have a 92 ford taurus wagon LX 6 cyl, auto,and when i bought it 3 years ago it would seem to overheat or run really hot, i have replaced the radiator, the rad fan does work but it only kicks in when it reaches the O - R range in the word NORMAL for the temperature gauge, usually closer to the mid/top of O range, is this normal, is there anything that i can check? any help or replys even far fetched would be greatly appreciated

You should have two fans on it right? If niether of the fans are not working then I would check the relay switch. Its located on the drivers side fender.

i have 1 fan and it does work, there is no relay on the fender, and the fan does not come on if i turn on the ac, but the ac does need charged again? and i have checked the resistance of the coolant temp sensor and it does drop to zero like it is supposed to do.
