confused 01 GT problems after Plenum install

Hey guys I'm having a few problems with my 01 GT. My engin mods include BBK Fenderwell induction, BBK 75mm Throttle body, 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers, and 2 days ago I added a BBK 75mm Hi Flow Intake Plenum. It not only triggered my "service engin soon" light but also the "check fule cap" light, (yes I checked the fule cap ) And has caused the idleing to become very rough to the point where it almost stalls. The RPMs are bouncing between 600 and 900, which brings me to the question, what is a good idel rate? Do I need new O2 sensors, a chip or a tune? I have no idea if the air fule ratio is reading well. Thanks!!!

Re: 01 GT problems after Plenum install

That sounds like you've got a big, bad vacuum leak. Double check all your vacuum lines and make sure they're routed correctly and none of them are left off. If that all looks okay, you may have a leake at the base gasket. Your idle should be somewhere around 800-850.
