1966 Mustang Vinyl Moulding

Hi Everyone,

Here is a problem that is has me totally confused. I have a 66 mustang with at vinyl top, I need to attach the moulding on it. I see in the catalogs all the mouldings have post attached to which nuts hold it into place. On my car it has 4 "Buttons" attached to the car and what held the moulding in place where plastic clips. There are no holes on the car where the posts on new moulding could go thru. I have no clue what I have or over time what someone did. Any thoughts would be helpful.
