1989 Mustang LX

On my wife's Mustang when the power windows retract or go up the windows squeak so I have put baby powder on the rubber rain-guard that the windows slide through but it wears off very quickly, does anyone know of a lubricant or something that I can do to stop that squeaking? I had at one time thought it was the assembly track that was making the noise so I took the door panels off only to find that lubricating that did not help any.
