rcats 96 Mustang GT Convertible Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Torrance Posts: 6	1996 Mustang GT Console Replacement I have a 1996 Mustang GT Convertible that I want to replace the center console that has an ashtray in it, which is no use to me. I was thinking of replacing it with a 1998-2004 console that has cup holders instead of the ashtray. Can anyone confirm whether it would fit? Does it have to be a convertible one or is the coupe version the same fit? Please advise.
