1998 Mustang GT

I just bought a 1998 GT and find that the radio does not perform as well as the one in my 2003 Ranger. Stations fade out much quicker with the Mustang. Any bodly have any comments?

Also, considering buying some sound deadening material, as there seems to be a lot of road noise coming through the floor as well as exhaust noise. Any bodly have experience with material and the best place to install for maximum noise reduction?

Re: 1998 Mustang GT

Dynomat works really well. You can pull up the carpet in the front and line it with the Dynomat. They make it in thin sheets and it is amazing how much DB reduction it can offer. Not that bad in price either.

Re: 1998 Mustang GT

Pull the back seat out, and put the dynomat down there.....
the mufflers are right below the back seat tubs.
