I would like to upgrade the brakes on my 98 GT. I see a Cobra kit is available for the front brakes but the price is quite high.
Does anyone have a recommendation other than the above that would inprove the braking for a more reasonable price?
How much of an improvement would one get by replacing the front rotors with vented ones and using a better grade of brake pads?

Not really familiar with the car but normally vented disks and some decent pads makes a noticable amount of diff and may well be enough , whats the intended use of the car ?

The car is basically a daily driver and a few long trips on accasion.

Bendix makes a great product when it comes to brake pads. As far as the rotors go, vented rotors will stay cooler and perform better.
