Hi, Im new to this forum. Please forgive me if this is a duplicate post. My traction light comes on when driving on the highway. It only comes on, on certain stretches and what ever speed Im going is the speed I am stuck at. If it is a major incline my speed has dropped to 25-30 mph. All of a sudden the light will go off and I can increase my speed. Driving city streets this is never a problem. Anyone know why this happens? Thanks.

It's very hard to give you a definitive answer without having more data. If you have access to a scan tool, hook it up and see what codes come up. From your description I'd guess you have an intermittent short/open circuit in one or more of your wheel speed sensors, a damaged tone wheel or a major issue with your ABS/Traction control module. But definitely need more data, specially dtcs, before I can point the finger somewhere.
