2003 Mustang Gt dome lamp won't shut off

I need some advice troubleshooting why my dome lamp won't time-out after the doors are closed. I need the entrance light when getting into the car for security reasons, but then the only way I can extinguish the light is to keep the dome lens off and remove the ultra-hot bulb each time.

I appreciate any/all help with this.

I was thinking maybe the switch. but maybe the computer? your gonna have to pull the switches even the trunk one as well so you can be sure it doesnt think your trunk is open. I can be of that much help without seeing in the diagram where those wires go. Sorry man best of luck!....hooker

Could be a dirty switch. Try spraying some WD40 into the latch mechanism then open and close the door a few times.
