Will the 2004/5 Mustang make its way down here to Australia???
I liked the 2001 and am suprised at the bad reception it faced here especially from the media. The worst thing was it had a better power to weight ratio than a Clubsport but Motor could only manage a 6.3 or 6.4 (cant remember exactly)

From what I've read so far Ford Aust. has no plans and is not interested.

If the car was built as a factory RHD that would be an advantage as there'd be no extra cost for the conversion, and the price could be heaps lower than the last lot. I'm sure that would help change their mind.

I think if they did a factory RHD version in the US then the price would be a lot lower. Remember we got the top of the range version. It is possible that we could get the GT and possibly the Mach 1 and the Cobra...They current versions retail for:

GT $24110 (US) or $41 062 (AUD)
Mach 1 $28 995 (US) or $49 391 (AUD)
Cobra $38 405 (US) or $65 430 (AUD)

I realise there would be taxes on top of this but it gives you a good idea.
