I have alot about putting the 3.73 Gearing in the back of my 04 V6 Mustang. If i do this will is eliminate the One Tire Fire effect? What is the difference between the 3.73 gears and the 4.10 gears? Would it be better to just put the 4.10 if im elbow deep in the rear end anyways? I also need a good place to install this unless it isnt to bad of a job but what ive heard is that its tough, any suggestions help Thanx

One wheel burn will only go away with the addition of a posi-traction rear end.

3.73 gears would be the highest ratio I would install in a street car.

If you can overhaul an engine and keep tolerances- you can do a rear. It does take some special equipment and requires back spacing to be correct to avoid gear damage and noise. Research it before you attempt it and you will be able to do it. Check Richmond gears for installation instuctions.
