so i bought a MOTOBLUE Hardcore Series Custom Fit Ignition Wire Set for my 2001 3.8L Mustang.

i've put on flowmaster exhaust, k&n intake, and a diablo sport delta chip. the chip is programmed for the previous parts.

i installed the plug wires as instructed and ran the car to work. whenever i pressed the peddle more than 1/4 of the way, the car would stall, not quitting all the way, but close. i drove it around town after work (if it matters, its about 40 degrees at the time) and the stalling lessened. now it only stalls when i put the peddle to the floor or close to it.

any idea whats up here?

btw, everything else on the car is stock, ignition and all. i'm running platinum spark plugs also.

If it just started this problem since your mods, I would guess the chip is your problem.

seem's like you're right, going to get it re-flashed tomorrow.

btw if anyone is interested, these solid core plug wires added a ton of high end for the 3.8.

just remember the get your chip reflashed before gettin them on. haha.
