hey guys

i have a 302 engine and some ppl say it's a boss so my question is how in the name of god do i know for sure without stripping it down?lol

a boss 302- uses the same heads as a 351-c there are 8- bolts holding down the valve covers on each side , and the water outlet that goes to the rad comes out of the block
in front of the dist. a rare egine only made in mustangs in 1969 & 1970 than ,that gave birth to the 351-c , a 351-c looks like a boss 302 but taller it has 1/2 inch more stroke and they were in cars from 70 -74
a normal 302 has 6- bolts holding down the valve covers on each side, and the water neck to the radiator comes out of the intake manifold, they were in cars from 68-95
find a casting no. on block or manifold to b sure

a boss 302 is 4-bbl only, a 351-c is 2 or4 bbl, a boss 351-c is 4bbl only,
a 351/400m is 2-bbl only made from 74-79 mid /full size cars &trucks
