302 won't start, burns +/- wires
I have this problem in the other general discussion area, but figured maybe I could get more help this way. I have a 67 Mustang convertible with a 302 in it. When I turn the key to start it, it cranks, but doesn't start and the positive, negative, and starter wire all get hot, red hot. I have replaced the solenoid, the voltage regulator, I have checked my wires. Any suggestions?
