I'm working on puttin a 460 into a LX trunk car mustang and was lookin for any advise from anyone who has already been down this road.

you can find the motor mounts and oil pan at summitracing.com or you can find this stuff on ebay. it is alot of work. if the car is a 4cyl. you have to change the k-member, if it is an inline 6 cyl. (straight 6) you have to change the k-member, if it is a v-6 or already a v8, you buy the mounts and oil pan conversion kit and get a bottle of some sort of aggravation reliever because you will have alot of headaches and hope you have alot of money to spend. and use a c6 trans and dont forget to beat-up the trans tunnel so it will fit.

well from what has been posted there goes my initial intentions with my convertable LX. Good luck. Please let me know how it goes.Anyone know about a 390 getting dropped in or the 351 Cleveland? Could use some suggestions a that just about stopped mine. Good luck with your swap.
