I recently swapped out a AOD tranny from a 1992 Mustang Conv.
I replaced it with, a 5spd from a 1989 Mustang
I swapped, the computer, wire harness from under the drivers seat (for tranny)
Drive shaft, tranny cross member, clutch pedals, and speedo cable.

The car runs, and tranny shifts perfect, BUT the starter is getting constant power, when the battery is connected.

For some reason the starter relay is keeping the the starter solenoid engaged all the time.
Does anyone know why?

Sounds like a faulty relay. Have you tried replacing it? They are relatively cheap.
