'70 hood alignment

I recently had to replace one of my car's hood hinges, but I can't seem to get the hood to align as it was before the replacement, I've tried several times but have had no success, does anyone here have a method for aligning these things? the hood pops out in the rear but is fine in the front.

Not a pro, Just a big fan.

Re: '70 hood alignment

I usually leave the bolts just barely loose and shut the hood. Them see about moving it in place. Open it carefully and tighten the bolts. If it moves to easily, then tighten them a little more before closing it.
