I thought this post would have been answered. 5.0 HO which is what your engine should be has firing order 13726548. The older 5.0 has 15426378. As for the rotation just give the engine a quick crank on the starter with the cap off and watch the rotor to check .Hope this helps. __________________ Lance 71 429SCJ Mustang
