i have a 87 GT.that is pissing me off,,it first started when i would drive car for more than one hour it would crank real slow.then it went to were i had to let it set for 30 min,and let battery cable cool down because it would get hot,before it would start.now it just wont crank over.i hook up battery charger and when i try to start it nothing but i get the sound of the charger buzz when i turn key.i tryed jumping it ,,nothing,,i replaced starter,,ignition,,alternator,,battery,,solenoid,,still wont crank,please help before i torch the car,,,,,,,,,,,,,

power supply wires may be bad/corroded

yeah, if the wires are getting hot it means they likely have a lot of resistance in them, which would lower the voltage getting to the starter. Try swapping those out.
