I am brand new to working with Mustang's, someday I will find a 68 FB to enjoy, I recently bought an 88 with the 5.0 HO, overall it seems to run pretty good, but sometimes especially when accelerating from a stop or when cruising on the freeway and I step on it, it stutters or hesitates. What's going on and what can I do to fix the problem?

Here are just a few basic tune-up things you could do to get your engine running better. Your engine could just need the timing checked, maybe replace the spark plugs depending on how old they are. Also if you haven't done so recently you should replace the fuel filter. Goodluck, and hope you get the 68'
