89 musatng surging at idle

Hi there,

I have 89 GT with stock Eng, the car start with great idles for about the 40 minutes of driving, then all of a sudden it starts surging at idle like it is going to stall out and will stall unless you heel toe it to give it gas. My Tech said since you have not drive the car for 6 months the Eng get carbon, you need to drive it more, and nothing wrong with the car!!!

Any ideas please.

Have you been able to check for codes? You can do this with a multi-meter and a jumper wire.

I would guess EGR or IAC.
