I was wondering if anyone here has seen a stalker body kit on a car. I have heard of sagging problems on some of them. The kit looks nice (IMO), but it is expensive and I don't want to buy it and end up having problems. I don't want the hood because the mustang I am looking at already has a real Cobra R hood. I only want the side skirts, front bumper, rear bumper and stainless steel exhaust tips. The price of these parts with Shipping & Handling is around $1,294.00. Here are some picture of the kit.
I can't really give you any technical advice. But on a personal note, I have never been a fan of body kits. Hoods are one thing, but some of them just go way to far from the original design.
I'm a fan of some and I think that one is hot! Way better than the Razzi. :s6:
I would think that is about what you would pay for a good gfx kit. I am ordering a kit for my Cougar from Germany and its around a grand for just the side skirts and the spoiler.
As for the sag. Its all in the instillation and how you take care of it.
I just got a reply from a Cervinis employee, and they said there is only sagging if the kit is installed wrong. They also said that the 2 sided tape will only come off if you don't clean the area the tape will be attached to.
I don't really think the kit goes TO FAR. It is in between rice and nice. And I don't want something to plain or to extreme... So the kit seems good for me.
Can anyone give me an estimated price for getting the front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts painted??
And I am looking at a '96 GT with a Cobra shortblock and 98 GT heads. I want to get some performance heads, but the car has a SVO supercharger. Does anyone know if the SVO supercharger will work with the Ford Motorsport 4.6L High-Flow Heads ??
I can't help you on the engine-heads question. It cost me a little over three hundred to have my whole hood, hood scoop, and rear wing painted and scoop and wing installed by the dealership bodyshop. I went there to make sure the paint would match up right. I remember you saying that you were just going to get the ground effects, no hood. Are you getting the rear spoiler? Are you installing the kit? I think just painting with the rear spoiler shouldn't be more than the $600 dollar ball park. I hope that helps.
I'm not getting the wing, because I think it is a little bit to big. I like the OEM wing. Not to big... not to small... I was hoping it would be around $500. I am installing the kit myself, so that should save some money. If I have trouble with the kit, or don't think I can do it well I will take it to someone. I am getting the rear bumper, front bumper, sideskirts, exhaust tips and fog lights. (Round) Thanks for giving me a general idea of how much it will cost.
