I recently bought my third Mustang. It's a a 2001 GT Convertible with all the bells and whistles. I wouldn't have anticipated this, but I'm having problems selling my '97 GT Convertible. I'm not sure if it's interest, time of year or price. Here's a link to another site that holds an ad for the car.

If anyone has an opinion, idea or suggestion as to why I might be having problems, please let me know. I've got it in the news papers, on autotrader.com and in Auto Trader mag, on other web pages and I'm parking it out at times. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Then again, if you're interested yourself, drop me an email.

Thanks in advance.

- Jon

damnit

I wish I would've seen that you were selling it. I just bought one today. A 97 convertable, black, w/ all the amenities, but only 35,000 miles. I paid almost 18,000 for it. But it's also got a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty which I like. Why did you change out the tranny? where you hard on it or do they suck and take a dive?

I'm sorry you didn't see my car first, too. This weekend, I may have found I buyer, though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As for my tranny, it one day started grinding between 1st and 2nd when the RPM's were up there. I took it in, and they replaced the innards. The dealership that fixed the transmission did a poor job. It never really shifted clean between 1st and 2nd, and it happened again soon after. Another dealership did a good job, and now it runs fine.

Finally sold

I loved that car, but I had to let it go. I have a new one now, so I'll be ok. The market didn't let me get what I wanted for the car, though.
