hi people I am Reggie i am planning on buying a 98 mustang V-6 96000 miles runs great but i am concerned about a little problem whenever its time to shift from first to 2 nd the overdrive light startes flashing and when it shifts it does it very hard. any idea of what this could be?Any help will be apreciated.

COuld be a number of things. I would have the car looked over by a mechanic first. It may cost you a few bucks, but it will also give you ammo on getting a price reduction. Sounds like the trans fluid is a little low or the trans is starting to fail. Usually it is just trans fluid low, but best to have that checked before you buy it.
