Airbag code 52

Hi, I own a 1993 5.0 Mustang LX, recently after changing the old battery and installing new one, the air bag light will flash this code (52), I've read that is very easy to erase this code by connecting a wire to a connector in the left side of the glove box, but I cannot find this connector anywhere, I also own a 1995 Mustang, and the cable is there, but I have not been able to find it in the 1993, any one has done this in a 1993? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Airbag code 52

Disconnecting the battery cable for several minutes is how it is reset. If the code comes back- there is a problem with the backup power supply of the board.

If I were to throw a guess on the diagnostic, I would say the diagnostic monitor has failed. They are the same as a Taurus so it should be easy to find.
