I have a 68 Mustang with a C4 tranny. Been restoring it for a few years now and getting ready to paint. Well my trans leaks fluid real bad. It is always showing way too full. I heard there is a valve somewhere in the tranny or the torque converter that stops the fluid from draining back from the torque to the trans. What do yall think any help would be appre.
is trans fluid being ck'd w/engine at idle in park at operating temp. also a overfilled trans will spew fluid out of a breather hole on top of the unit when it heats up , as tranny fluid heats up it expands , also was the dip stick or tube ever replaced , there are different length dip sticks
