Bassani X-pipe
I just purchased a Bassani X-pipe w/cats, & was wondering a couple things about it. I've been doing a lot of research, but I want to know some first hand experiences.
1st) How much horsepower am I looking at from this X-pipe application? I decided on the X w/high flow cats, because I live in Chicago and have emission testing. I was told that since these cats are hi-flow (unlike factory cats) there will be very little difference in hp from the o/r x-pipe.
2) How will that X-pipe sound once it's applied? I am ordering a Magnaflow Cat-back system soon. I am going for a louder but not obnoxious sound. I'd like it to be throaty, but loud, yet not too raspy. I ALSO WANT the Horsepower gains from Magnaflow
