Help!!! I have a 98 GT Convertable. 6 Months ago replaced the Batt and Alt with new parts (bad Bronco experience on the rebuilt alts.) Today all of the suuden Batt light comes on when engine is idiling below 2k. By the time i get home its up to 2.2 to 2.3. Took the batt to shop and tested fine. Anything besides the alt that i should be looking at or do you think this is an alt issue?

Unfortunately, new doesn't always mean it is good. I would have the alt. tested and go from there. Make sure connections are good.

If its the alternator & its only 6mos old, you should have a warranty.
