blower motor 'resistor?' - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hiya!

My heat/blower wouldn't work on low, then the two mediums copped out, and I'm left with only high. Full blast, or no blower at all.

So we picked up a blower motor switch, thinking it was going to be simple. Didn't work. Someone said to get a blower motor resistor, but when I type that into a search, pretty much all parts places say the two are the same thing- switch & resistor.

What's next, anyone know? We're at a bit of a loss. Thanks for any advice.

definately different things, I would go to the dealer. I think mine for the ranger was only about $15.00. Here is one pic.
