Re: The BOSS never left
I checked out their website.
I'm pretty disappointed with their options at a suspension level. I notice they offer a clone of the Griggs Racing K-frame on the front end, but I didn't see anything regarding panhard bars or watts links or torque-arms etc for the rear end. I'm thinking it's more show than go at the "first impressions" level. The website was pretty short on under-chassis photos to make an informed guesstimate as to how it's gonna handle.
And yet, in their sales blurb they have the audacity to compare their car to "Ferrari's" - and if you're gonna play that game, you have to play the handling/suspension game too.
Indeed, getting back to the website, I went through their "build kits" and I have to say, they're actually charging a customer for body stripes and a "Registration Fee"? A friggin' "Registration Fee"? To put skirts and stripes on a Mustang? I mean, come on? This ain't the Shelby Register we're talking about here. Man, these guys are marketing experts.
If they're really serious about performance, it takes more than turbos and revised iginition chips to kick a goal. You have to rebuild that SN95 suspension geomtetry too.
