I got some 18" boys smoothie 2 wheels fitted today , makes the old 69 fastback look mean. I could have gone wider on the ass end , im running 275x35x18 back and 235x40x18 front. I will try to get a pic soon. Has anyone had boyd wheels b4? i noticed they dont have a coating on the polished surface, is this normal?

Sounds good dodge .I look forward to the pic's. Are you in LA. I'm going to LA next year so what is good to go and see as in car stuff. We are going to do the tourist stuff like Universal studio's, Disney etc but I wanna see car stuff as well esp Ford. Have you seen anything that is worthwhile me going to. Any car museums etc.

yer doing tourist stuff like swap meets and car shows. If u like the beach and nice rods, hang around long beach /huntington area, there is a car show every friday afternoon near annahiem, saturday morning at crystal cove car park and lots of other thing to see and do.
I spent some time down at san diego ( very nice area ,set out like sydney) and now staying at annahiem , i will be up at montery on the weekend for historic races and vegas for sema soon, tomorrow there is the LA car show, like the one at darling harbour motor show.
plenty to see and do here automotive , got a room full of magazines and brocures.
Hey check out the dodge magnum , sweet station wagon, looks like a chop top .
give me a buzz b4 u head over and i will try to help u out on places to go and see.

Thanks mate. We are heading out at the end of January to San Fransisco and working our way down to LA. Will be staying at Anahiem too.

And it is normal for most of Boyds wheels to not have a coating. I would suggest you polish them up real good then get a good wax and apply it to the wheels. It will help in the protection of them. Of course you may want to call boyds and see if they have anything to suggest.
