Bye Bye ST170 - hello Mustang

Well after all this waiting for an ST170 - and all the uncertainty over price, I got a phone call today that changed my mind once again.

Consequently the Cougar will now be retired to make way for a Laser Red Mustang Coupe.

Ahouldn't be a long wait (given that they are sitting on grass) and I'll post pics as soon as it arrives.

PS: If anyone from Vic is interested I have a set of FORDST plates for sale at a reasonable price (they are Blue).

Isn't their a bit of a price difference between an ST170 and a Mustang. Like 30 odd grand haha. You could have bought two snails and an engine rebuilt for 30 grand Russ and then you'd have a car that would eat the MingeMobile for lunch. 600BHP in a car that weighs half as much :s6: When are the pictures going to be up?

Technically you can fit 21's in there without rubbing on the rear suspension bolts. If he drops it any little bit and i know if Rob gets his hands on it...it will go down. He can safely tuck 19's

On the original Mustang pricing the difference would have been around $47 grand (assuming the ST170 lobs at $38k) - however watch this forum closely and you will see a special offer from one of our site sponsors that would see the price difference reduced considerably - and it's a whole lot more car.

Cheers

So your getting a "special deal" then Russ? Still... a nicely worked ST170 would be bloody nice. But, like you said, there is a whole lot more car in a mustang and there won't be such a squeeze when you take or your mates for a ride! Are you taking it into Rob's straight away?
