can you put a 351c into a fox body - Ford Forums

Hi all,

I just stumbled upon this forum, and this will be my first post here. I've gotten lots of useful information in the past from forums focused around dodge trucks (I own a 99 Ram), and I'm hoping to find the same experience here. If you have ANY kind of suggestions or comments, they would be eagerly accepted.

I've owned an 89 mustang LX 4-banger for about 6 years now, being stored at my mom's house for when i got the ambition to do something. Well now I have some ambition, and I picked up a 1970 351 Cleavland that came out of a Galaxie.

My question is... has anyone ever stuffed one of these into my type of car? Will it be worth it, or should I find a donor car that this motor was made for?

Also, any tips for building a powerful but streetable 351C on a mediocre budget?

Given enough acetelene and money you can stuff any engine into any chassis. This swap has been done, but it's a lot of work and trouble. If it's a must there is an article on the converstion on the Mustang Central.com board that will help you out. The information that you need is in the tech section.
