Color/Trim Deviations

I am currently restoring a '65 2-door Falcon Station Wagon. Realizing you Mustang guys are sticklers for authenticity and correctness, I thought I'd toss this question out to you. These very standard wagons were obviously being phased out in '65, and did not have a whole lot of options available in the original sales brochures. Along with limited exterior color choices, and NO interior options, other than Palamino, it was a plain and basic ride. My question is, did Ford make allowance for any special paint or trim deviations? If so, I'd like to use correct '65 Falcon colors and trim, but not those of the standard wagon line. Any feedback or experience in this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Norm.
As far as I can tell with Mustangs it appears that there were some deviations from standard colours etc if the new owner specially wanted this. I am unsure how often this happend in 65 Falcs though. It was a rare event in Mustangs.

That's what I've Discovered

Thanks for the input, Lance, that's pretty much what I've discovered in my research. I'm comfortable within the given perameters in this restoration, I just wanted to explore all of the possibilities.
